The Challenge

Decades of acquisitions had left Regional Medical Center with more than a dozen disconnected web properties, duplicate content, inconsistent branding, and a physician directory so outdated that patients and referring offices regularly found incorrect information. Patient experience scores for digital touchpoints were well below the national average for health systems their size.

Our Approach

We conducted a full audit of all digital properties and patient journey mapping across six service lines. A new information architecture unified all properties under a single domain with consistent navigation. We rebuilt the physician directory with real-time integration to their credentialing system, designed patient-journey-based service line hubs, and executed a technical SEO migration with zero ranking loss. All 40+ location pages were optimized for local search.

The Results

Online appointment requests doubled within the first year post-launch. Organic search traffic to the unified domain grew 156% versus the aggregate of the prior fragmented properties. The physician directory now serves over 50,000 monthly searches and the practice has maintained all pre-migration rankings while significantly expanding its keyword footprint.
